Pladot was established in 1945 in Kibbutz Ein Harod Meuhad; it is fully owned by the kibbutz. The factory's main areas of activity are concentrated in its Metals Division and MiniDairy Division. The company has vast experience in the development and manufacture of vending machines like VideoMat, for which the company also provides service in hundreds of locations throughout Israel. 
Pladot has been an approved manufacturer and supplier of the Israeli Ministry of Defense (MOD) for over 40 years. Among our Metals Division customers are: the Israeli Ministry of Defense, Rafael, Israel Military Industries and more.Pladot has vast experience in the design and production of stainless steel equipment for high-quality food processing in compliance with international quality standards like ISO 9000, CE and FDA 3A. Furthermore, Pladot is approved supplier to several chemical and food industries.Pladot employs approximately 70 people, including experienced engineers, technicians and food technologists. About 60% of the workforces are kibbutz members and 40% are salaried employees that reside in the area.
